Photoshop-ing

I talk to people about my photography, and about photography in general. Lots of them ask me if I photoshop my pictures.
Yes, sometimes I do. But, I try not to do too much craziness when I am working.
For fun, I played today for 5 minutes, on an image from a wedding I photographed a month [...]

Erica and Chris at Oxon Hill Manor

My friends Erica and Chris were married yesterday at Oxon Hill Manor, in Oxon Hill, MD. The rains held off until the ceremony ended, which meant that they got to have the ceremony outside on the lawn at the Manor.
Inside and out was beautiful. It was my first time photographing an event at the Manor, [...]

Cars

This guy is pretty cool.

Lora came with me today for a photo shoot for C-ville Weekly – my first shoot for them in nearly four months. Oh man, have I missed it. Today we were with Kenny Shreves, who owns a auto shop. Specifically he likes, works on and races Porsches. We had a good time hanging out with [...]

Time Passing…Tommy

Tommy passed away this morning. He was the first homeless man I met since I’ve been here in Charlottesville. He’s been a constant around here and now we just have memories of him. I’m sure we’ll see him when we get to Heaven.

Kristin and Tom’s Wedding

Kristin and Tom have been friends of mine for a few years now and Kristin worked with Lora for the last year. They asked me to photograph their wedding before they got engaged, but I was going to be on a bike trip – I’m glad I got to be here for it, as it [...]
